Disabled veteran lost 140 lbs through yoga and went from needing two crutches to walk to sprinting… in 10 months.
My reaction: :’)
First of all, let me say that I am predisposed towards iced coffee. My grandfather- who I idolize still- drank iced coffee starting at about 10am, and all day during the summer.
That said, iced coffee has something of a bad name among coffee aficionados. Hot coffee is seen as the natural way of…
Let me just say that I’m a huge (bold AND italics should make a statement :B) proponent of iced coffee. Especially if its during finals/midterms season and especially moreso if its finals/midterms season and its from Starbucks because Starbucks double brews their iced coffee… one of my friends Eric told me that a venti iced coffee has more caffeine than a venti Americano because of the double brewing. And I haven’t fallen asleep on the job during all nighters with my trusty venti iced coffee yet :).
THEREFORE, this is definitely on my to-do list this summer.

Apparently there’s a movie coming out soon about the invention of the vibrator in England in the 1800’s or so. Since I’m attracted to period films and attractive stars I think I might want to watch it when I get back to NYC next week :)

Tokyo is so diverse - I love how her bag is a combination of all those facets of the city and the culture.

you’re welcome.
also partially the reason why I’m starting Insanity.
According to this list… I have alotta work to do this summer.
Now that I think about it, I saw like 10 minutes of Hellboy a couple summers back and got it confused with Iron Man, which now I realize was dumb because RDJ is too beautiful to be confused with Hellboy…
Also going to add Kick-Ass to the list because I’ve heard good things about it.
When we came to Yale, there was this sense of possibility. This immense and indefinable potential energy – and it’s easy to feel like that’s slipped away. We never had to choose and suddenly we’ve had to. Some of us have focused ourselves. Some of us know exactly what we want and are on the path to get it; already going to med school, working at the perfect NGO, doing research. To you I say both congratulations and you suck.
For most of us, however, we’re somewhat lost in this sea of liberal arts. Not quite sure what road we’re on and whether we should have taken it. If only I had majored in biology…if only I’d gotten involved in journalism as a freshman…if only I’d thought to apply for this or for that…
What we have to remember is that we can still do anything. We can change our minds. We can start over. Get a post-bac or try writing for the first time. The notion that it’s too late to do anything is comical. It’s hilarious. We’re graduating college. We’re so young. We can’t, we MUST not lose this sense of possibility because in the end, it’s all we have.
